Managing Broker, Side Street Homes
I am the managing and employing broker at Side Street Homes (CO License #EI 040043706.)
Side Street Homes is the DBA for the Property Management, Real Estate, and Construction aspects of The 40th P, LP. I include this information so that any individual that cares to inspect the provenance of my professional licensure can do so.
In the modern lexicon, I am defined as a “Small Volume Builder” and a “Boutique Real Estate Firm.”
I have been licensed as a Real Estate Broker since 2006. My first 5 years as a licensee were spent at Keller Williams in Boulder, Colorado where I was an award-winning Broker and a member of the Associates’ Leadership Council (for two of those five years.)
I was a dues-paying member of the National Association of ®Realtors for 5 years, also.
Prior to this, I was the building half of a husband and wife Builder/Broker duo. I carried a General Contractor’s License, Category C, for about ten years. I was licensed in the City of Denver, Colorado. As the owner of all of the homes that I rebuilt in the city of Boulder and Boulder County, I was not required to have that license transferred to Boulder. Still, if you know about these things, Denver and Boulder have, perhaps, two of the toughest building and zoning departments in the Mountain West and I worked and passed inspections in all phases of construction across several decades.
I am, in addition to my daily practice as a writer, a carpenter, designer, and Real Estate Broker. As previously stated, my primary focus moving forward is under the title of Writer and General Creative at The 40th P, LP where I am moving from solving the small problems involved with rebuilding old homes to the large problem of rebuilding The World. Please, have your tongue in cheek when reading that statement, even if I am dead-pan serious.
